The M2394D is just used for a second monitor now with everything on the side.
I used to use it to watch TV on as well as having the PS3 and 360 connected (both in the living room.
With the W2363D I can defiantly see the difference between 60Hz and 120Hz and I find it hard to even look at 30Hz now. 3D on Battlefield 3 and Batman is amazing :)
I'd swap out the i3 in that rig with a cheap i5 either Sandy or IvyBridge

I think iOS 7 will look a lot like HTC Sense and Windows Phone 8 with the flat icon/ widgets and tiles.

1280 by 720 = 92160...
It's like saying why can I view a 12MP image on my 1MP phone.
These screen shots have been taken from a 4K monitor and we can view them because they're screen shots.
On my 1920 by 1080 at 120Hz monitor I can force 2880 by 1600 at 60Hz an it looks incredible. its called Downsampling and PC gamers have been doing it for years.

If you purchase a game on PC you get the Apple version for free.
I'm 100% sure they will do this for the Linux versions.
Once all my Steam games work on Linux I'll make the jump.
