Considering the iPhone 6 broke sales records, I'd say Apple is doing just fine. I do agree to an extent about the stagnant evolution of the phone. They did recently overhaul the OS and it did feel fresh, but its definitely missing some of the more advanced features that are normally on Androids.
Yup. A lot of my friends and family had problems with the EVO. Which back then was touted as the iPhone killer. it was more like a brick.

I got mine fee with a Samsung tv. It's great. No complaints with it here. Actually impressed with it as well
I like my iPhone for countless reasons. First is the ease of everything. Opening closing apps. The fluidness of it all. Swiping between everything just feels right. On a android, it tends to lag. Even on my friends Galaxy S3 he was swiping to the next page of his phone and it would take half a second to do it. On the iPhone its almost instant.

I agree. Never had any issues with any of the ones I had. I've seen my friends have problems with their HTC Evo's and HTC my Touch.

It's really preference. Its a matter of what the individual likes. I almost think now that it's hip to knock the iPhone. All I know is that for me, I love the Iphone and its everything I wanted in a phone. I've had once since the 3gs.

I think way too many people jump on the band wagon to bash the iPhone. I have one. I love it. But its all about preference. Do I think it deserves the number 1 spot? Probably not. But definitely in the top 3. Droid heads seem to always want to find something to bash the iPhones.
Steam is successful but demographic is the PC crowd. That's why a platform like Steam exist.
The console gamer is a totally different type of gamer. The one that perferably likes to pay for a physical disc. hence the reason why, along with millions of others, why they are not on the PC.

But what i don't get is how people complain that too many iPhones come out when only 1 new iPhone is introduced every year. Android has quite a few per month.
So if you buy a new Android, within a few months there will be newer better ones released.
I don't get why people want a redesigned look already. The look of this phone to me is one of the best. Very thin and sleek.
I agree with Gondee. The iPhone is quicker and more responsive than android. My mom has the evo. I'll scroll down on it and it will actually lag a bit and skip every so often. It does the same thing on my g/f's mytouch as well.

Personally I think Android phones are just bad. You try to scroll down and they lag. Sure you can customize whatever you want. But I just want a phone not a computer rip off. Android's market is sub par as well. Experience is always better on a iPhone. Always.
Actually AT&T let me re sign my contract and get the iphone 4 when I still had another 1 year left. So I'm guessing they will do the same. then you can sell the iPhone 4 on eBay. And most likely, how I sold the 3gs last year, it will not only pay you back for the $200 you pay for the new iPhone, it will make you a profit!
Evo's are horrible phone. They are big, bulky and unstable. Both my mom and a friend have one they both have stopped working. Evo should've just been called the Monolith.
Other than that I could care less about open source. I just want a phone and the iPhone definitely fits more of my style. And I would feel bad if I wasted my money on a Andrioid, cause 2 weeks later another phone will come out that will be supposedly better that runs android different. At least ...
