The world needs Samsung it's one of the biggest competitors to a lot of people and actually forward most of the industries they're in. They also build quality hardware. I still have my note 2 and works fine it's not my daily use phone but still works and battery still lasts.

Simply no. The iPad is great but when it comes down to it it's a large iPhone without the phone hardware. It cannot compete with a tablet such as Surface Pro 4 that can be ran as a tablet or a PC.
Surface Pro will always win. If Apple honestly thought they could win this then they are delusional. They needed to follow Microsoft and have osX and iOS on the same device.
