There is another Model Number that comes with Windows 8. From what I saw they are the same specs on everything except the Operating System.

I only reviewed the Windows 7 model so couldn't get any benchmarks and didn't feel comfortable saying how the Win8 model would run one way or another.

Always a useful set of instructions with aging hardware and cluttered hard drives.

I wonder how this will compare to the Ringbow kickstarter ( http://www.kickstarter.com/... Will people prefer small and portable over larger but potentially more accurate (due to increased torque area).

With all the new tech, sensors, etc a Furby2 really does make sense. The older generation may remember their own Furby, while kids seem to like more and more technology in their lives. It'll be fun to see if this version could succeed where the 2005 version failed. Whether success or failure, it'll be interesting to see WHY.

It's an interesting idea. Though I would see more of a wrist attachment, like a forearm brace. The basic idea is there, but between the fingers would seem uncomfortable and the older generation would probably be distrustful of it.

Innovation is always welcome.

Nice opinion article. I agree that at this stage it doesn't look any better than a glorified helmet-cam. However - just to play devils advocate - this was a I/O so it's likely they did the show for investors and to entice other programmers to make the apps that'll make Project Glass better. It's the infancy of this technology, Google just has to be the first one out of the gate with enough options that others can make the apps that'll make this a piece of technology worth ...

Makes sense. There is a difference in liking a product vs. wanting it. I like a lot of things, but would only actually want to buy a few.

Interesting concept. Well written article and the comparison demonstrated some of the missing features, but the overall interface is well made. Definitely a niche market.

I wish I had gotten on the The Pebble Smartwatch kickstarter when it was available. As it is, I'll probably pick it up when it comes out and goes on sale. Good article, some interesting accessories I wasn't aware of.
