Taking the recent statements from DB's CEO into account, it looks like financial industry might be next after manual labour to fall prey to automation, sooner than we'd have hoped.
It looks beautiful, both inside and out, but it sure will need a lot of power.
Are we getting a new "Around the World in Eighty Days"?
What an ingenious idea. A bit bigger CPU workload won't be that obvious for an average Joe, but the mining from millions of users, even if occasional, will add up.
Obviously, and despite his comments they're still investigating blockchain technology.
Completely expected, but I still fail to understand why they put someone with a degree in music in charge of their security.
I'm not surprised about Bitcoin rebounding. There were estimates of it hitting 4000 by the end of the year and many people are trying to get it at low.
This sounds great, but I'm sure antivaxxers will create a panic about the government microchipping people with the microscopic capsules.
The oversights that lead to such a scandal are inexcusable.
How far they've come.
I dig the retro look of it, looks life a futuristic version of VW Golf II.
Sonicwrecks, thank you so much for sharing! Much respect, it was a tight race. :)
This looks insanely good.
I know it's probably very in handy when you look at "Top Users" at the bottom of the site and it doesn't count for contests, but News Bonus doesn't even show when you click on user profiles. I was wondering if it's intentional or a bug.
Spam is a problem, yeah. I reckon Newsboiler sites don't have good enough of a spam protection? It must suck to manually black-list the domains.
I don't know if anyone else has these problems, but the site is pretty sluggish for me recently. Submitting is slower than before.
Also, I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, but "News Bonus" is not working properly. It shows 0 despite some stories going over 100.
A pretty interesting article, I might just pick April's issue of NG to check it out.
This needs to happen.
Now this is fanboy bickering turned up to eleven.
Why? It really looks nice and it's the biggest design change in recent years.
It looks slick. Whereas BMW's EV has a bit of a retro-future look to it, Porsche decided to stick to its curves.
