Well, it shouldn't be so hard to do it... they are basically the same phones, with minor changes.
This is great news. The update is not that important, but it would be amazing if LG started to take Nexus 4 production more seriously.
I think that they're two different devices. On paper, the Xperia Z has better specs, but the Nexus 4 is a lot cheaper and it's running on Android 4.2 (it will also get updates a whole lot faster).
Personally, I'm very curious to find out how good that 13MP camera really is and if it can take better photos than Nokia's Lumia 920 aka fat-boy.
I blame it on Windows 7.
Nice and "clean".
Why is this not surprising at all? This is what happens and incompetent politicians cannot keep up with technology and innovation. Kind of like Apple, if you ask me.
Or... the big companies are paying these guys to adopt stupid laws.
They will probably adopt an exemption for tablets in 2015 when tablet sales will reach hundreds of millions of units sold.
I guess people are no longer that stupid. They waited to see what Apple is going to unveiled, and when they noticed that there is nothing revolutionary about the new iPhone, they decided to opt for the Samsung Galaxy S3. If it were to ask me, this was a great choice.
Anyway it would be too soon to say that Apple's iPhone is dying. Maybe Windows Phone and BlackBerry still have a chance in the mobile market so let's just wait and see what the end of the year will bring ...
I've seen fake books that looked more real than this story.
Well detailed and useful article which is kinda surprising from Gizmodo.
I think that Microsoft and Nokia will reveal at least three new smartphones. They need to address all types of customers: low-, middle-, and high-entry users. Windows Phone 8 must become available for everybody if Nokia and Microsoft want to compete against Android Jelly Bean and iOS 6-powered iPhone during this holidays season.
Truth is... Apple did copy absolutely everything. The sad part? Apple knew how to implement some technologies in a time when software, UI, design, and other minor patents weren't so popular. If the auto business would have resembled the mobile market, then we would have had only 3 types of cars. Sadly, Apple has a lot of good reputation so this could have a negative influence on the judges.
After having read all your enraged or funny comments, I'm surprised that nobody gave the "correct" response to the news. The real problem is that Apple's marketing is so good that the consumers have been brainwashed. I swear that I've heard a 15yo girl saying that she'd do unspeakable things to a man if he would give her an iPhone 4S. Apple managed to make people think that if they don't have an iPhone, then they aren't cool so... there are few chances they...
Where should I start? Well, Jelly Bean will be a major update over Ice Cream Sandwich. JB fixes almost everything that Google did wrong in ICS. First of all, users will get Google Now. For those who don't know, Google Now will be a Siri-like personal assistant, the only difference is that Siri is wrong most of the times, while Google Now is right most of the times and it's a lot more useful than Siri.
The second most important feature (IMO) is Vsync timing and Triple bufferin...
This sounds like another hardware-powerhouse from Samsung. And the metal casing sounds good, too, as it's about time plastic becomes a thing of the past.
