My s5 can last a week on 1 charge if i use it alot then i get around 3-4 days.

fyi win vista win 7 was the same os just that win 7 was win vista sp3 and it was flashy. if you track down real win 8 beta videos they again used the same guts/kernel. installation of win 8 beta starts with windows server 2008 then windows 8 components. after it install's your greated with a windows 7 control panel and windows vista looking theme with the basic start menu. Microsoft has drm on there os's and the 360 also uses ea's drm at the moment on the sports games just a fyi also this will make gaming a rental service you never own the product.
i already seen windows 8 being installed/used via a video checkout lkl34 on youtube its under favorites. win8 is basically reskinned win7 with new bells/whistles

32bit vista user here i use 3gb ddr3 the max 32 bit allows when i game my os use's 512mb with steam running and playing ruse it goes as high as 2.7gb.
agree but you do know windows 7 is window vista sp3 and window 7 is hardly supported we dont need windows 8 till 2016 fn ms.
just a fyi you can strip vista so it runs as fast as xp and get rid of uac feature.
I use mine like a phone
texting/calls maybe a map and the odd app music/playstation.
Email/web browsing why would you do that on a phone? use a computer.
