Why would I pay money for a phone that has no features and that I owned literally almost 2 decades ago?
So Apple refuses to help the FBI bring known terrorists and mass murderers to justice because it sets a dangerous precedent for privacy concerns...but they are OK with controlling when and where you take pictures and have complete control of your device...ummm..anyone worried much lol???
Honestly, I am really concerned this will set a precedent where anyone can ignore a government court order...
Face the facts apple:
1. The phone was owned by the state government who
2. Gave permission to have the phone searched by:
3. A judge who ordered a search warrant to legally and lawfully search the phone of:
4. Someone who is dead and thus no longer has any expectation of privacy!!
Apple is mo...
lol @xander...
its...
one...
damn...
phone...
lol!!!
Yeah im still confused on how Apple is able to say no in the first place...
1) the phone was actually government property who gave the FBI permission to search it
2) A judge issued a warrant to search the phone in relation to the case
3) Phones are broken into all the time to aid in cases where there is a legal warrant. Fundamentally, how is this any different?
Its called technology my friend...technology...
Things people once thought impossible are now common place, thus things we now think are impossible just havent been invented yet.
I like the disagrees, but one basic principle of botany that I remember learning in college is that a lot of flora actually do require fire and heat to expose seeds and germinate. It's a natural part of the life cycle, without forest fires, we wouldn't have all of our forests! Now protecting the people that live near those fires? That's a whole 'nuther level, lol!

You're absolutely right! I wish all visionaries shared your approach to progress..."There's other problems out there, so why try to fix this one?"

Or new employement opportunities for drone operators. I'm sure this delivery type will cost more so it won't make priority/overnight delivery extinct. This really only makes more jobs.
As is the case with most modern disorders...it was always there; it was always under reported or passed off as something else.
lol millenials...
Same as with every new invention, build the infrastructure to accommodate it!
In the shower is great, but imagine doing laps in the pool with these things. Really will make swimming go by a little faster. This is great for us swimmers!!
I always have to laugh a little when something like this happens...Do people realize that they DON'T have to put every little thought on the internetz for everyone to see?
I live in US but I have multiple credit lines of credit (credit cards) that I use responsibly and at least here in the US this really helps boots your credit score which is required for pretty much any major thing you need (phone, car, home, etc).
Credit cards are NOT a scam, you just actually have to be responsible with them...I know it's a novel idea, lol

Please educate yourself prior to making baseless statements. NASA and sapce technologies have helped usher in new technologies that you take for granted every day. The very computers that you are using to discuss how much of a waste of money this would be uses integrated circuits that were refined through NASA programs.
Additionally, every dollar that NASA spends returns approximately $1.47 in technological and economic benefits (way more than mo...
This isn't a bad thing necessarily. It's like when somebody threatens a cop or tries to hurt a cop and somebody only records the officers having to use force to detain the suspect, everyone only sees that small part and the internet explodes with how bad cops are. They put their life on the line every day to keep people safe. This might actually help them a little bit.
never underestimate the pace at which technology advances. Developments like this tend to be exponential in dev time. Look at Moore's Law for example, I think accelerating returns is illustrated very well there.
dcbronco...who said anything about a hoax?
