That was kind of the point of the article. So many people are getting excited about something they haven't seen yet and are already passing judgement that it will be great just because it's Apple. This was just offering an alternative opinion based on what we know. There were facts in there too :) Thanks for taking the time to read it and making a sensible comment.
I know what you mean, I'm from the UK, and certainly this time of year solar chargers wouldn't be charging too quickly. However a lot of the iPhone solar chargers in the list can be charged by artificial light (you can even put some next to your monitor to charge as you type!) - although artificial light takes a bit longer to charge them up.
How much more interesting would eating Christmas dinner be, with this as a table!
