I think the fingerprint scan is moderately useless as well until we can use NFC for making purchases in retail outlets.
I like some of what I see here but am still not thinking "OMG!! That's my next phone"...And I REALLY REALLY want a new phone. Also, I still think the S series phones have done themselves a great injustice by continuing to keep that face button. The Nexux phones don't have one and I love the clean look that provides.
at the time, the main focus for that application was for point of sale in the retail space. I still see it working in that realm to be honest. Especially now with the shift towards being just empty store fronts with minimal inventory.

The Tablet division...is a tough call for me. That market is booming and will continue to do so. MS has to be in the mix somewhere for business and home users. Furthermore, that division can be beneficial to future xbox development.
This adapter does SFA for me. I have a surround headset and do NOT want to replace it at this time. Please release something that those of us who invested the money in an expensive headset can utilize properly.

I've never owned an HTC - they were always the low-end brand of phones compared to the Nokias, LGs and Samsungs of the world. I'd also had many friends who hated their HTC devices in the past. That does look sharp though.

for me the perfect match happened 2 and a bit years ago when the Galaxy Nexus came out from Samsung...but now I need MORE! More power, more space, more resolution, more bells and whistles.
I NEED a new phone...sooo bad but I'm still holding out. I just know the second I buy a phone, something groundbreaking is going to come along and I'm going to be pissed.
HAHAH! I took a 2 week vacay in december and 10 days in January. There's hope dude. I just happen to have a very sweet job that affords me the ability to post through the day.

That's pretty sweet. I'm in Canada but I had no idea that was an option already. Looks to me that it's tied to credit cards only which sucks. I'm a cash and carry kinda guy.
