Windows 10...yussss.
not just price...
it's a terrible smartphone with nothing to separate itself from the crowd. well, except that gimmicky 3d thing.
i swear...I don't know why amazon feels like it has to be involved in every or so market it can get its hands on.
Aw, man. That 4 snap window thing is going to be so useful for work.
I have to agree.
While I'm on windows 8 and have gotten used to it, there are many instances where I've missed using the start menu.
Windows 10 is looking pretty great so far.
I used to be a g-mmail user for the longest time after hotmail started feeling a bit clunkly, but ever since outlook's emergence, I've slowly been transitioning to outlook. It's fluid, looks great, and it's got custom domains and async and imap.
If you go to class, like I do, then tablets are basically only good for taking notes and surfing the web, checking e-mail.
But, for me, I've always gone with the laptop and I've never experienced any sort of class issues or personal ones.
did you mean to say "unlike ios??"
This will not end well..
Ugh..
I hate it when companies do this.
well...then get batteries.
But I figure a very small portion of the population ventures to Antarctica.
because you gotta buy batteries??
you consider skype bloatware??
lol, ok..
start screen = start menu with a ton of space to pin your programs and apps, bigger room for more customization, and looks nice.
I don't see anything wrong with it..
You dislike 8.1 because they added a visual icon for something that does the same thing in windows 8??
xbox one isn't out yet, and ms have managed to remedy the major issues gamers wanted fixed before launch and considering that consoles are a 10+ year business, I don't see microsoft having a problem with that business. And with a $499 starting price, microsoft have more flexibility to make price cuts in the near future.
And about zune, I believe that the zune software was the first stepping stone to the modern UI (metro) that microsoft uses today in windows 8, wind...
@wishingW3L
.....buahahaha.
Oh wait, you're serious.. :/
As much as people seem to despise ballmer, I actually think he's done a pretty good job over the past few years. Sure, there's the whole windows 8 debacle (mainly due to the modification or removal (however you see this) of the start menu), but all of the recent projects ballmer has created under his belt after gates left have been only to advance the company forward for the future.
Honestly, I don't think there's anyone else more fit for the job at the hel...
I blame the journalists, honestly.
even if I was to replace death with dying, it wouldn't be an accurate statement.
zune is dead, so it's not dying. ms killed it off already. x1 isn't out yet, and the rest of the products or services show yoy increases in terms of growth.
i don't know why anyone would pick up an ipad pro aka ipad xl over devices like surface pro 4.
