What's really disturbing here is that governments and big corporations will use the piracy issue to transform the net into a neutered version, where we'll have to pay for most content and any sharing is heavily monitored and restricted.
I also find it concerning that most pirates and people "sharing" online doesn't seem to realize this and is in fact playing straight into their hands.
