I'm fine with Windows 8.1 and have been since I got it in 2013. It runs fine, and is great for gaming.
I don't want Windows 10 yet.
As soon as this 8k stuff gets going, the 4k stuff will drop to a price that is actually affordable.
Everyone will have 4k TV's eventually but that won't be for another 6-10 years.
Probably sticking with 8.1
