I feel like Black cases would go better with white

Probably the last new game cover design from Sony...

Prefer PS4's. The white is distracting and is just ugly.

I previously saw some of the mock-ups with white headers ... kinda wished they didn't go that route..
Oh well ... since its all white and black dual tone this time, guess it'll grow on me in time.

I was never a fan of the PS4 cases. They need something better like the PS3 ones. Or something similar

Mistake to not make the cases more compact and efficient like the ps3 ones. Ps4 cases are bulky and hollow (similar to ps2 & xbox cases). The ps3 cases were perfect when it comes to size.

As for the design of the box art and branding, The ps5 ones look good. Just make the cases smaller.

Blue worked well enough for the entirety of this gen so don’t see why it needs changing it’s the content of the disc I’m paying for 😜✌🏻

Does it matter what the box looks like? I've seen some comments elsewhere stating that the cover is "terrible" or "horrible " in look or design. Its kind of nuts.

Not a fan of the white heading, would've looked better if they switched it with black and white lettering.

The general graphic layout of the cover art looks extremely reminiscent of Xbox 360 cover art styling. Generally speaking

Pretty much just the PS4 box design but now says PS5 and a white spine and top? I have no complaints. However, Something about the white top and spine is not sitting right with me. But who cares I don't spend to much time looking at my game cases and I maybe getting the digital console anyway.

The white looks out of place. I know is to match the console colours but it still looks weird.

it seems like they didnt even try. black would've been cleaner and more modern looking especially since 4k movies are black. blue matched the ps4 cuz it was heavy on the color with its ui n stuff but ps5 is futuristic looking with last gen cases. smh.

Amazon France apparently had a page up for PS5 Skyrim special edition. Probably fake I know but it brings up the question imagine paying £70 for Skyrim or GTA5!?

Looking at the design, it's clear that physical is no longer a prioirity for them. They didn't even care to order new colors for the plastic. 😂

I for one is NOT HAPPY WITH IT. It looks LAZY from Sony. All they did is kept the same blue plastic cover and replace the in-slot paper with the new PS5 2 tone Blk/Wht color which make it now 3 colors!! Blue/Blk/Wht. LOOKS UGLY NOW!! I would've though Sony would change the blue cover into a different color such as either Blk or "CLEAR" color for Wht.

Still better than Green.

it is blue because of branding. Just like the xbox, it is green, even if the console is black.

Most box art are getting lazy, with just the main character or other people standing standing around. at least have a proper background.
