Pocket-Lint: O2 has confirmed to Pocket-lint that Vodafone won't be the only UK operator to be stocking the next Galaxy smartphone, otherwise know as the Samsung Galaxy S3.
A spokesman for O2 has told Pocket-lint: "We are excited about the next Samsung Galaxy - that’s why it’ll be coming to us too. It’s not a Voda exclusive… but not much more for us to say at this stage!"
Ofcom is to delay the start of its auction for another chunk of 4G spectrum, after threats of legal action from Telefonica and Hutchison, parent companies of O2 and Three.
VRFocus - Recently phone network giant O2 has made a partnership with The England Rugby Team. To celebrate the partnership, the company has started off its Wear The Rose campaign. During this campaign, an Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) will be taken around the UK showcasing what is the first virtual reality (VR) sports experience.
BT is in talks to buy O2, Britain's second-largest mobile network, which it originally spun off in 2001 and is now owned by Spain's Telefonica.
The telecoms giant said it had also been approached by the shareholders of another British operator, believed to be EE, which is owned by Deutsche Telekom and Orange.
