Kotaku: While the official reveal of Sony's next home console could still be months away, if not longer, Kotaku has today learned some important details concerning the PlayStation 3's successor.
For one, the console's name—or at least its codename/working title—is apparently Orbis. And it's being planned for release in time for the 2013 holiday season.
Sony's preorder routine is slightly different this time around.
With BMW, Sony Honda and Ram revealing EV plans, cars dominated CES 2023
According to a recent statement by Sony, it has sold out around 25 million PlayStation 5 consoles.
I dig it
Playstation Orbis?
I'm sorry but I dont believe any reliable sources news. The last few of those news posts turned out to be false. Until its reported by Sony themselves I wont believe it.
Sounds good if true but i can see sony showing off the new ps if at e3 if it is due out next year. If they do bring it out next year i think they should look at feb march 13 as it will give the console time to get some games out for it by xmas 13. Just like nintendo did with the wii and 3ds.
Looking at what sony are doing with the psv i see the ps4 being alot better in terms of online services than the ps3 which for me has been its big let down this gen but i am sure we will find out what sony has to offer soon.
dont know if we are ready to replace our ps3 systems on 2013 if it's true
