Is that why the first ipad didn't have the proper camera? Is that why it wasn't even dual core? Its nothing more than an Iphone supersized. Tablets that came out YEARS BEFORE THE IPAD had better specs, they just weren't white and didn't have the luxury of an "i" in their marketing.

o really? please, name one 'decent' tablet that run a 'decent' os built for touch based system!

it is damn easy to built a proper hardware. its hard to make it properly work. hasn't anyone learnt from the iPhone phenomena? some vendors just don't understand that making applicable tech is not simply putting kick-ass hardware on their device. this is exactly why iPhone and iPad market share stand still!

the funny thing about this "new" ipad is i think most honest people would say its not a worthwhile upgrade over the ipad 2 but if they had the money they would buy a new one anyways

first, show me proof that most people who bought a "new" ipad didn't own the ipad 1 or 2, you not being on of them doesn't prove anything

this new ipad isn't a big jump from the ipad 2 so i dont see why more people who never owned the originals would buy this one, logically speaking, it doesnt make sense

again, your assuming to much, im not upset, just stating my opinion, on the other hand you seem to be taking this personally

and the assuming continues, i scrolled to the bottom of n4g, saw an interesting topic and posted, took 5 minutes of my time

funny because I'm in iOS game industry, and most of gamedev i know rejoice for the pixel+gpu upgrade. and thats a fact.

logically speaking, the new iPad is probably the most significant upgrade people may notice in iPad history. you should see how retina display works. its just beautiful.

It's not a big jump but some people enjoy a faster processor, better camera and a screen that makes it much clearer.

I just don't see why people complain about something that doesn't affect them.

Am planning to buy 1 in June... Saw it at the Apple Store today and was really impressed with the display. For someone who likes to read a lot of web content and books, it's the best display in the market.. Scratch that, it's the best display I have seen on a mobile device.. Everything was smooth and didn't even have any hiccup switching between a heavy app like iPhoto to iMovie... Will be a major upgrade to my Tab 10.1.

I bought this its my first iPad and I love it. It works amazing for med school with all the apps that are offered and I bought a case with a keyboard in it so its essentially a laptop now.

I wont buy ipad after ipad just to have the cool whats in thing. These fuckers are to expensive. I just had the extra money and why not?
