When most people hear about designer tie-ins with technology, they think of lame devices with a logo smeared all over it - but in this case, it's actually a decent phone in its own right.

Pocket-Lint: LG and Prada have teamed up for the third time and their progeny is the best yet. That's an easy statement to make when predecessors have been feature phones and the latest is a fully-fledged Android darling.
But is this just a case of buying for the label, or is there something smarter going on with the Prada phone? And could this be one of LG's greatest Android smartphones as well, or is it a distraction from the serious business of innovation in technology?
Pocket-Lint: Perhaps the most surprising thing about the new LG Prada phone is that it doesn’t look as vulgar as some of the rich person handsets that have gone before it. There are no hideous Swarovski crystals here, no vile faux gold trim, just a stylish and well-designed handset.
If we had to compare it to something, we’d have to say, it looks and feels a lot like the Samsung Galaxy S II. It’s a little heavier, perhaps, but the thin design and high-quality plastics used make this feel like a real rival to the Samsung phone.
