One of the better features of Google’s online Android Market is that it can be used to push apps to your smartphone. All you need to do is log in with the same Google account used on your phone. However, rooted devices that did not have the Android Market installed by default had no way to access this functionality.
Now, that is no longer the case. A recent update has made it possible to use any rooted Android device with the web market, even if the device did not originally come with the market app installed.
