Gigabyte shows off the ECO500, a new wireless laser mouse that promises a battery life of up to 12 months.

I'd get it.

I gave up on wireless mouses after they would go through batteries so quickly. My last caused the batteries to explode and I heard battery acid sizzling inside the battery compartment.

WOW that is not very good! Haha. I have only had one wireless mouse in my life and it's been really great so far. It's a Logitech VX Nano for my laptop. I think I have only replaced the single AAA battery once, and each battery lasts a hell of a long time. I can't even remember the last time i replaced it but in the software it says I have about 150 days left!

This tech would've been amazing back in my gameboy days. Would go through batteries within 2 days.
