Nintendo isn’t the only one that plans to use Augmented Reality in their devices. It seems like Sony has taken the next step and trying to implement their own AR in their phones. What they’re using is called SmartAR which work similar to what the Nintendo 3Ds does with it’s Augmented Reality cards. The camera can pick up multiple objects on screen and they don’t necessarily need to stay one screen to work. Take a look at Sony’s live demonstration:

now if only we could find a way to implement things like this in real life that would be awesome.
i can see it being done if you got that special projector that could project 3d images and attach it to the ceiling of every room.
