ZTE V9 Android tablet gets FCC approval

ZTE is known mostly for its cost effective OEM feature phones, but the company is slowly making its presence known in the tablet market as well. Their new Android tablet, the ZTE V9 , appeared at MWC earlier this year and it was approved by the FCC – which indicates a launch in the U.S. in the near future.

Internal photos of the V9 show a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, Qualcomm power management chip and Samsung SDRAM. A “Plus” version of the V9 with a 1GHz processor will be available as well. There is no word yet on pricing or release date.
