The Tech Report: "The Vertex 3 isn't due to hit store shelves for another couple of weeks, but it's arguably the most anticipated SSD of the year. Indeed, we've been so curious about the drive's performance that we've been testing a pre-production sample with firmware that hasn't yet been finalized. OCZ expects the firmware only to get faster from here on out, so we've decided to take a closer look to see where it's at now."
HCW reports an interesting image, as OCZ has gotten to the point where they are ordering flash from Micron to their own specs and brand.
TheGamingExperience: "With the boot times, whether it is gaming or just a general boot comes in strong. "
OCZ Vertex 3 is best SSD for me. Being fully portable and having a SATA interface which enables easy connection to both laptop and desktop configurations is what make it above the rest. I first get one of it after I had read a good review of it from http://www.solidstateharddr... and then made up my mind to get one. The best thing I like it is that it is really fast and portable. And I never regret with choosing it.
The OCZ Vertex 3 promises to be almost twice as fast as the Vertex 2. Icrontic runs OCZ's SSD through the benchmark suite. How does it stack up?
