French company Archos has been making portable media players for more than 10 years, but in the last few years the company has made a name for itself in the low cost Android tablet space. Carving out a niche for itself in the low cost market with further plans for its next generation of Android tablets.

"The Archos Gen 9 tablets will use 1.6 GHz dual core ARM Cortex A9 chips. Archos also plans to offer its first tablets with 3G mobile broadband connectivity in 2011. Like the company’s current offerings, the Gen 9 devices will have low cost designs featuring plastic cases over a stainless steel frame, and a choice of hard drives or solid state disks for storage"
hopefully it creates a trend i want a good sub 200$ tablet that has a good android os and is nice.
Archos might be a big player in the tablets market, with this prices they are much more affordable than others... :)
