Internet Explorer 9 Available Worldwide Now

Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) is now finally ready for download. Among the news is a more minimalist interface, and support for hardware acceleration to make the browser faster than its predecessor.

The navigation controls in IE9 has been simplified. The back button is bigger, the address bar and search box has been combined into one new address bar, and the many menus from earlier versions of IE are now a single menu. It is also possible to search directly in the address field.

Most web sites can be pinned to the taskbar in Windows 7, so that access is faster and easier, meaning that you don’t have to open IE first.
