Steve Jobs may be out on medical leave from his beloved Apple, but that’s not stopping second in command Tim Cook from laying down the verbal smack-down on the competition. During Apple’s earnings call today, Cook referred to Microsoft’s tablets as “big and heavy and expensive” products that requires a stylus or Keyboard to be effective.

While I would love to see some excellent tablets by Microsoft and Google, I fear Tim may be right.
