Sony Ericsson's Xperia Play supports 32 simultaneous touch points

More news is showing up about the Xperia Play, at this piece of news is huge. The unannounced Sony Ericsson Xperia Play display has the capabilities to have 32 touch points, simultaneously. That is a ridiculous amount of touch points needed on this 4.2 inch display needed, but its better that having no multi-touch on the Xperia X10 ( until the update arrives ).Check out after the break for some specs about the touch screen.

32 on 4.2 inch. Thats a lot. I don't know if even 20 fingers would be able to touch the screen at same time.

Sony patent suggests Xperia Play with dual keyboards, it's slidingly slidable

Engadget - Okay, so maybe physical keyboards were a bigger deal back in 2010 when this thing was filed, or maybe -- just maybe -- we'll one day see an Xperia Play smartphone with both a gamepad and a full QWERTY counterpart. A patent for such a contraption was just granted to Sony by the USPTO, which stakes its claim for a device with two sliding mechanisms in addition to the display.
