Engadget: Acer Liquid Mini and BeTouch E210 hands-on

Engadget: Acer didn't just land in Vegas with Iconia tablets galore -- it brought along its new Liquid Mini and BeTouch E210 Froyo smartphones. The 3.2-inch Liquid Mini is the most interesting of the two, and like its larger older brothers, it's made of a black glossy plastic, which is bound to pick up more fingerprints than Sherlock Holmes.

Just a couple of months ago, we would all get super excited if we spotted a new Froyo touting handset, but nowadays (we call it post-CES 2011 syndrome) if a device isn't rocking at least Android 2.3, then it's going to struggle to make us sit up and take notice.

Acer reveals beTouch E210 budget Android smartphone

Pocket-Lint: It's not all about Android tablets and super-high spec smartphones over in Vegas, you know. There is room for more affordable options as well.

Options like the Acer beTouch E210, which packs Froyo without packing a hefty price-tag (at least it shouldn't).

The E210 features a full QWERTY keyboard and is powered by a ST Ericsson PNX6715, 416MHz processor, with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM.
