CES 2011: ASUS Tablet Computers Unveiled

ASUS today announced four new tablet computers designed for a wide range of users and applications - The Eee Pad Slider, Eee Pad Transformer, Eee Pad MeMO and Eee Slate EP121. The new models are available with three screen sizes, and a choice of either Windows 7 Home Premium or Google Android operating systems for the ultimate in mobile flexibility and productivity.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer shipments surpass 400,000 units per month

As expected, monthly shipments of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer tablet have reached 400,000 units, making the company's goal to ship a total of 2 million tablets in 2011 quite attainable. Asus' tablet shipments are expected to grow further in Q3 2001; the company has requested its touch panel providers supply a monthly target of 400,000 units to 500,000 units during the quarter.

Good. I really want to see this succeed and so far it's going in the right direction. My dad has one, but the keyboards are not even shipping to my country yet :( so just the tablet is for sale right now.
