tablet devices have been on the market since around 2003... but just now we have a 'boom' for this kind of pcs.. just after the iPad release.
personally, I will wait for another bit before buying one of them. iPad is a bit heavy and screen resolution is low. android tablet isn't good enough yet, battery life in most devices isn't great. I think that 2011 year will be the year of tablet pcs.
