Pocket-Lint: iRiver seems to be taking the ebook reader category seriously. We recently looked at their Story with Wi-Fi and now they have launched the Cover Story, their take on the touchscreen approach to ebook reading. There are two versions of the Cover Story: the Basic on review here (£149) and a Wi-Fi version (£179).
Akihabara News - Iriver Russia unveiled a new PMP from the Korean manufacturer with the P8. Available in 8 or 16GB, this new PMP comes with a 5” WVGA touchscreen, HMDI out with 1080p video playback, a battery capable to offer up to 10h of continuous video playback and 40h for music, an SDHC card slot, the support of MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC, WAV, AVI, XviD, WMV, MKV, JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF, TXT in a compact body of 145×54.5×13.8mm and for just 227g.
Pocket-Lint: iRiver has rolled out the Wi-Fi version of its touchscreen Cover Story ebook reader. The model (EB05W) adds to the Cover Story lineup, which also includes the EB05 offline version.
Engadget: Remember that iriver Story Touch Edition e-reader we spied last month? Well, iriver is showing it off at IFA this week, with plans to release the little 6-inch touchscreen device in Europe and Korea in the next week or so.
