Watching organized crime shows apparently has a way of bringing out people's fashion sense.
News Corp.'s pay TV channel FX is teaming up with sister movie studio 20th Century Fox on an iPad app that will follow along during airings of the hit show "Sons of Anarchy" and offer up ways to buy products that appear on screen.
Reuters: "News Corp's bankers Allen & Co have been approached by nearly 20 parties, including Chinese Internet holding company Tencent; Myspace's original co-founder De Wolfe backed by Austin Ventures; and the current management led by Mike Jones, who would consider a buyout if he can raise the funds, according to people with knowledge of the various plans. News Corp has also approached Vevo, an online music video site jointly owned by Universal Music, Sony Music and Abu Dhabi Holdings, to discuss a possible joint venture."
Rupert Murdoch’s company News Corporation has several options on the table for MySpace, including sale, merger with another company or division into several companies, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Earlier this week, MySpace announced that the company would cut the number of employees by 500, almost half of the staff.
