Today, Motorola officially announced the Motorola Droid X smartphone. Even though it had appeared on the Droid main website, it was not official until today. The Droid X will feature a 4.3-inch screen, a 1GHz process, 8-megapixel camera, and an HDMI-out port. When it launches, it will come with Android 2.1, but by the end of the summer, it will be upgraded to Android 2.2 along with Flash. It will be priced at $199.99 after a $100 rebate.
