Apple is anticipated to announce the new OLED iPad Pro this spring. Although there has been considerable speculation about the product, it’s always reassuring when Apple officially confirms certain features through upcoming software updates.

While I probably wont buy an iPad, I would likely take one over most net-books. I find my laptop to be the right size (15" for me isn't too big or small). If I were to buy another device it would probably be something like a tablet (a thin dedicated tablet). It wouldn't replace my laptop, rather it would accompany it. While an iPad can be awkward to use so can a lot of net-books for those of us who have big hands (and I find most to lack in quality).
I'm iffy about tablets too, but currently I would still probably take a tablet over a net-book.
30% sounds like a pretty bogus figure to me.
I'll rephrase that and say:
"30% of netbook shoppers are morons"
