Mine works OK. Developed a squeaky scroll wheel that triggers on its own occasionally. My biggest complaint came right at the beginning, when I realized the only way to stop the rainbow-puke from the logo was to create an account at Razer. That's right. The tool to control anything unique to this mouse requires that you register with Razer.

"It features a rigid, almost spiky texture that left imprints on my fingers and a mild amount of soreness during long play sessions."

Oh, yeah. I had forgotten about that. The painful spikiness wore off with use, but it did feel like scrolling with a sea urchin at first, and it did leave my middle finger feeling sensitive and sore for some time, after prolonged use.

I don't think I'll be buying anything from Razer again. I think I should have stuck with Logitech.
