Vikki Blake for Eurogamer : Microsoft staff have demanded that the megacorp cancel a $479 million HoloLens contract with the US Military. Microsoft Workers 4 Good states. "It [Hololens] will be deployed on the battlefield, and works by turning warfare into a simulated 'video game', further distancing soldiers from the grim stakes of war and the reality of bloodshed."

I'm all for it. Why not be for the American soldier? If it can make them safer and better soldiers, why not? Sorry, but that's the deal with tech. It gets invented, people see a way to advance something in their lives or jobs and viola!

That's it. And if we hold ourselves back for some flaky reason while others don't, we're putting our soldiers in greater danger. Tech advances benefit everything, including the military.
