AMD just announced the first 7nm gaming GPU and also the company’s first high-end GPU in a while. Named the Radeon Vega VII, the GPU is aimed at gamers and is expected to offer performance levels almost on par with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 2080.
But the 7 doesn't have DLSS and I was impressed with the RTX 20 line up having those features.
DLSS is cheating. Think upscaling filters for emulators, only done much better.
It needs to be cheaper than $700, much cheaper. AMDs opportunity right now is undercutting Nvidia, not outperforming Nvidia (which the VII definitely does not). Let's see where the real-world price ends up.
