Hopefully this means that they've abandoned that bleak design that the Xperia range in known for

Matter of preference. I personally think the Xperia phones are by far the best looking phones on the market. They look utilitarian, and feel like high end devices, rather than following the cheap fad of slim and light that leads to flimsy leapster/fisher price feeling childrens toys. Every other phone on the market feels like it could snap in half at a slight breeze in its general direction.

I disagree, I like the look as well as Sony's TV's. They were almost 10 years ahead of the game when it came to minimal bezels which is now all the rage.

PrimeVinister2064d ago

The UI will be a light Xperia Home skin over Android 8.1 - basically awesome if you love Sony apps. They can removed if ya don't so still awesome 😁
