China did not ban Micron. A Chinese judge issued an injunction against some specific Micron products while a legal dispute gets settled. Massive difference between the sensationalist headline and the facts.

Edit: Oh, jeezus. This has absolutely nothing to do with trade wars. It is an ongoing legal feud between Micron and some sleazy vindictive Chinese company. The origins of this brawl go back way before the current tariff brouhaha.
