Good. I am more concerned with the government looking into my computer habits and using psychological profiles to try to manipulate me and others than I am afraid of terrorism.

These government people need a crash course on the basic concept of encryption. Maybe then they'll realize that there is nothing they can do about it. If an existing encryption scheme is backdoored or otherwise compromised, savvy users will just add a new layer of their own. Writing good new encryption algorithms is perfectly doable. Cracking their results is not.
