This had better mean cheaper unlimited 4G plans. I hate this BS advertising you see from companies that try to be sneaky with their wording. They'll always tout their cheap unlimited data plan, but it's usually not unlimited 4G.

I work for an isp, this whole thing is gonna be a shit show. It likely wont be unlimited for a while. Cost is crazy for operations. The average bandwidth in america is very low compared to what a true 5G network can offer. Youll see isps laying down new fiber lines, with new tech very soon, some already are doing this here in the U.S. right now. Consider someone is paying $70 a month for 200Mbps from their isp. Now give that same person the option to get gigabit speeds for $100/month for 10 gigs of data and the ability to hotspot. Itll be interesting to see where at&t and t-mobile are at in 2 years with this. T-Mobile has been very vocal about the tech but less so about how its to be rolled out. We'll see soon.
