VR right now is way too pricey so unless they going to release a cheaper alternative, i dont see the point of another over-expensive VR device.

You're so right. I mean, imagine if flatscreen TVs came out at exorbitant prices... then no one would adopt and buy them and then the prices would never have dropped. It was great that they launched at a few hundred dollars a piece.

Same thing with computers. Remember how cheap they were when they were brand new. Everyone could afford them. Imagine a world where they were ridiculously expensive at launch. Computers wouldn't exist as anything more than a curiosity now.

Thanks to the low launch prices these two technologies were here to stay. Otherwise, we'd be stuck with 19" tube TVs in black and white. Whew! That was close.
