By 2030, You'll Be Living in a World That's Run by Google

Larry Page, one of Google’s two co-founders, once said off-handedly that Google is not about building a search engine. As he said it, “Oh, we’re really making an AI”. Google right now is all about building the world brain that will take care of every person, all the time and everywhere.

Google is a lot like Sam Adams. At first a vibrant engaging company that produced something new and changed the way we saw their industry work.

Then, they became stagnant and refused to grow and change with the times.

For example: the top search on Google is usually still Wikipedia, not Encyclopedia Britannica, World Book, or Collier's, no, the far less accurate Wikipedia. How or why this happens doesn't really make a lot of sense if you want your search engine to reveal the right answers and not just the fastest.
