Just so everyone is clear on this pos. 5K is just the model name of the display. It is only 2K resolution (1440p). It is massively overpriced for what it is.

Even Apple does not seem to understand this as they are telling people to buy it and saying it is a "Retina" grade display. Apple Retina = 300 PPI resolution, this thing is only 108 PPI.

What are you saying? This LG 5K 27" monitor is 5120x2880 resolution which means 227 PPI.

It has 14.7 Million pixels which is much more then the 4K resolution and it's P3 wide color.

By the way, Retina Display is just a trademark used by Apple. Basically stands for any pixel density from where you don't quite distinguish the pixels. The 300PPI was just a reference example for a device that you hold up to 10 to 12 inches of your eyes. This is typical for smartphones. That distance doesn't apply to laptops or external monitors.

Just looked on the LG website and it seems you are correct. I saw 2 other articles about this monitor in the last few days and both said it was 2560x1440.
