you would think people know this already.

the good thing about marshmallow is the ability to block apps from using things you dont want them too.
see a game wanting to access your camera or contacts even though there is no need for it at all, block it.

never had a virus in 3 years (knock on wood) and that is because i dont root my phone or download apps from places other than google store.

Yup just stick to the play store or use very reputable 3rd party apps and you'll be good to go. Never had a virus in the 6+ years of using Android.
