Microsoft starts downsizing free OneDrive accounts from 15GB to 5GB of storage

OneDrive users have begun receiving notifications from Microsoft that their storage allotments have already, or will soon be, reduced to 5GB.

Meanwhile mega and mediafire offer 50GB for free and they are not even multi billion dollar companies...
And soon (next year) Megaupload 2.0 will be offering 100GB free...

GG M$!

It's much more feasible for companies like Mega and Mediafire to offer larger storage allotments due to the fact that they have a significantly smaller user base. It is cost prohibitive for an enormous corporation like Microsoft to purchase and maintain the amount of servers needed to supply that much FREE storage to hundreds of millions of people.

But don't let logic or reason get in the way of your argument. Keep on hatin'.
