Move over Chiron: this is a 1,384bhp electric hypercar

With ‘Ludicrous Mode’ engaged, the Tesla Model S P90D has 762bhp and 713lb ft of toque. Which, in most people’s books, is adequate. But what happens if you were to double the horsepower and crank up the instantaneous torque to 1,327lb ft? The answer is that silent, yet slippery thing above: the Rimac Concept_S.

Looks slick, and I'm sure they'll deliver considering their history.
However, if we go by history when predicting the price, it's probably going to be in the $1 million range and very limited.

From what I know, only 8 Concept_Ones were produced and one costs almost $1 million.

The veyron is 1001 bhp and this car is faster but less than the price of veyron which is $2.7. I am stuck by this.

micx2956d ago

You're also paying for the brand tag with Veyron, whereas I get the feeling Rimac is more interested in peddling out high-tech solutions.

Super-Geobros2956d ago

Yes you are right about that but veryon is also having that tag. High speed means high price and i can't see it here.

@Super-Geobros

I said Veyron has the brand tag, Rimac is quite new on the scene.

sonicwrecks2962d ago

Okay, that looks awesome - and some pretty slick stats to boot.

micx2962d ago

The front looks a bit like Porsche, but the back is like Concept_One with added spoilers.

sonicwrecks2962d ago

Quite often spoilers... well... spoil. But that fits well and I really like the lines. The vent before the back wheels, the side windows. Realllly nice stuff.

micx2962d ago

@sonicwrecks

Yeah, spoiler can spoil the look, but in this case it really goes well with that front.

Super-Geobros2956d ago

The front look is really like porshe andtgey mage it perfect but the back looks make it look less preety.
