Snapchat is gearing up for a big presence at CES 2016—almost literally. The Consumer Electronics Show generally skews towards VR headsets, wearables and other tangible products. But the popular self-destructing photo app won’t be soon forgotten amongst the hoverboards and self-driving cars. Mainly because of the giant freaking Snapchat logo the company has plastered on the front of the Luxor hotel.
It's currently available to Snapchat Plus members in specific countries.
Snapchat has officially launched its own premium subscription, Snapchat Plus. For $3.99 a month, you get some cosmetic improvements and a chance to use “exclusive, experimental, and pre-release features” in the app.
A $230 pocket-sized drone that can only fly for three minutes.
Missed opportunity. They should put a HUGE snap code under the logo. Not sure what it could've directed users to though. Something cool.
That's a good news for snapchat.
