GCHQ has released a graph storage framework to the open-source community.
After a legal battle that spanned more than a year, the UK government's surveillance agency - GCHQ - admitted to illegally spying for the past 17 years and apologised for their actions. But then, thanks to some tiny changes in GCHQ policy, it turns out they can carry on without being punished.
It has long been the most secretive of Britain's intelligence agencies - but, lately, GCHQ has been tiptoeing ever so carefully out of the shadows.
GCHQ and the US NSA have access to intercepted emails sent and received by all members of the UK Parliament and peers, including with their constituents. GCHQ has been able to harvest traffic details of all parliamentary emails, including sender, recipient and subject matter, for at least three years. As a result, details of private email correspondence between MPs and constituents are being collected by GCHQ as a matter of routine.
