Other than the occasional 1% of the time you'll be using a surface in an odd position that may be better handled with a full laptop...the surface pro 3 or 4 is a truely all in one device. Touch screen tablet and a fully functioning, powerful laptop. Gone are the days of traveling with both a laptop for productivity work and an ipad/ipad pro (or any other tablet) for light work. Keep in mind, when traveling with 2 sets of devices you also need 2 sets of chargers and cases and whatever else you use with your laptop and tablet. The surface pro line is the complete package that apple cannot deny or dispute.
